The league, Goodell insisted, was “committed to continuing the important work to address these systemic issues together with our players, clubs and partners.” On Saturday, National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell had the nerve to put out a statement extending condolences to the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery-three African Americans who were killed by people who claimed to be enforcing the law.
